For current subscribers, you should have received your Spring 2008 issue along with a renewal form for 2008-09. If you have any problems renewing please let me know and I will help out. Also for those of you that renew or subscribe over the next week, you may expect a delay in your receipt as I am off to the USITT conference where we have a booth for The Painter's Journal. I plan to use this blog to update people on what is going on at <i>The Painter's Journal</i>. This should be a way for me to give some previews of an upcoming issue or to give some up-to-date information about other projects we have going on such as our Young Scenic Artists Contest. Speaking of the contest, I have received a number of wonderful entries from students all across the U.S. We are busily packaging these entries and getting ready to ship them off to our judges. I plan on posting some of the entries on the website after the judging is complete so everyone can see the great work these students are doing in our universities. </p><p>I will keep this entry brief and I will again in the near future.
