What forms of payment does The Painter's Journal accept?
We accept personal or institutional checks, or charge card payments made through PayPal on this website.
If I subscribe today, when will I receive my first issue?
All new and renewed subscriptions begin in September. If you purchase a subscription in the middle of the year, you will be sent all the issues for that subscription cycle up to that oint in time. Please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery. For orders of back issues, please allow 2-3 weeks for delivery.
Why does an institutional order cost more?
When an organization purchases a subscription, it is available to many people, who then do not need to purchase individual subscriptions. The per-reader cost of an Institutional subscription is then quite a bit less than it is for an individual. We hope you will support The Painter's Journal by encouraging your institution to subscribe.
How will I know my order is confirmed?
When you order online or via regular mail, we will send you an email confirming our receipt of your order, provided you have given us your email address. Or, you may call us at 781-526-1017 to confirm your order.
What do you do to protect my privacy?
We do not sell, share, trade, nor give any of your personal information to any other business or organization for any reason. We will email you only for legitimate business purposes, such as order confirmations; we will email subscription renewal reminders only if you request an email reminder.
